Usher: Deak, just who does the pastor give to?
Deacon: I think he tithes Usher?
Usher: You don’t know?
Deacon: I’m not a pastor and frankly, I never asked.
Usher: If he does give, isn’t he just giving to himself and his personal agenda?
Deacon: Never thought of it that way, but in most cases of today’s church - that would be correct.
Usher: Hmmmm, kind of incestuous don’t you think?

A year ago I wrote a post called “A Tithing Pastor - A True Conundrum“. I layout some math to help tithing Pastors give an actual 10% :). In my scenario the “pastor” has to give a little more than 13% to not “rob God”. Enjoy.
